A Gentle Introduction to PROC Mixed In SAS

Professor Richard Charnigo (Dept. Statistics & Biostatistics, will present a two-hour workshop to introduce basic concepts of linear mixed modeling (e.g., comparisons to linear regression and repeated measures ANOVA) and a hands-on lab on the use of PROC MIXED in SAS software.  Familiarity with basic concepts of linear regression is assumed, but no prior knowledge of SAS is expected.  SAS is widely used for longitudinal data analysis in medical, public health, and social science research.
